[qb-core & esx-legacy] Total item weight effects player move speed - ixhal-scripts [FREE]

Hello FiveM Community!

Today we bring to you ixHal-Weights
Its a very simple resource and easy to configure.

What does this script do?
This script slows down the players movement speed based on the amount of item weight they are carrying.
You can easily toggle this to effect only when players are sprinting in the config.lua file.
You can set up your own % speed decrease easily in the config.lua file.

Frameworks supported

qbcore :white_check_mark:
esx-legacy :white_check_mark:

UPDATE:
Updated to support ox-inventory.

Any errors in your F8 console?
What framework are you using?

Its probably because of ox-inventory.
the script don’t currently support that but I can look into it later and give you a ping when I have added support for it.

I have committed a new update to support ox-inventory, It is untested as I can’t currently get on FiveM due to the outages, but should would fine.
A reply confirming or denying would be amazing!
Thanks.

Hey there ixHal, It doesnt seem to work for ox-inventory yet. Script started up perfect no problems there and I checked the readme. You made a small typo in the client.lua Instead of ox-inventory you said ox-invetroy, however even after fixing that it didnt make an effect.

Hi buddy,
Cheers for letting me know I’ll get it looked into.
Did you edit the weights in the config.lua file for the weights for ox-inventory? I’ll have to install ox-inventory and see how things are working.

Should be all fixed now buddy, Give it a try. Although that error is from ox-inventroy not my script, I had a issues with my script though so that probably did not help.
I tested with ox 2.32
