Project ROME/Nopixel V - thoughts?

Surprised to see no one discussing this in here, although i’m either blind or threads are being nuked?

Thoughts around this and assumptions on the future of use on FiveM and for GTA 6 etc? Do we know if this will finally support enhanced edition?

Maybe your post about it won’t be unlisted :upside_down_face:

did yours get?

There were a few posts unlisted regarding this topic, some for being unconstructive (borderline “bashing”), some for being too short/vague etc - the topic itself is free for discussion without issue, FYI.
I’m not a moderator, BTW, so this my own stance - if anything “official” happens everyone will be made aware

For months, this was called a “conspiracy” on the CFX Discord. Why are the heads of the project actively lying to us or allowing their mods to lie to us?

Well I guess rather then pushing this into the whole conspiracy/hate way, i’m actually generally interested to understand how/what Nopixel V is? Is it the potential new way RP servers are going to be done in GTAV and is this a test bed for GTA6?

All we have is a generic trailer to go off of, not really worth discussing. Could just end up being a link in the Rockstar launcher that opens a link to the servers. I suspect they’ll get some special treatment like early access to enhanced/other stuff that will trickle down to us.

Overall, while FiveM gets bigger, the general open developer/creator community seems to have stagnated/halted. I don’t think you’ll see much discussion about it here other than anger at the lack of updates for stuff like escrow.

i think the reason the topics dont pop up is that most fivem players do not care for streamers.

I just wish we had some direction of what is going to happen, I stop adding to my server. I don’t own a huge popular server, mine is a private friends only setup but I am at the point I stop purchasing scripts\maps because I am afraid that is going to be lost money here in the near future. Don’t want to keep spending money on this, and then have it be not usuable in the near future.
