About us
The Project Reality- Roleplay (PR-RP) community is an online gaming community that was founded in January 2009. After the absence of its original owner, the community was taken over by Mr187 and his brother Fresh in July 2009.
PR-RP was an official server on San Andreas - Multiplayer (SA-MP) version 0.2x from August 2009 to October 2009, and it was known as one of the biggest SA-MP, English-speaking, roleplay communities.
The community has had multiple attempts at revival, with few being successful, but none in GTA V, to the best of my knowledge.
The vision for this revival attempt is to create a community that is monetization-free but accepts donations for community costs such as hardware and licenses.
The community aims to be transparent and inclusive, encouraging members to express their thoughts and ideas.
The community also plans to learn from the mistakes of other communities, such as Los Santos - Roleplay (LS-RP) from the SA-MP era, and other communities like GTA World (GTAW) on the â– â– â– â– â– â– platform, and implement new features and ideas in their own way.
General plans
Project Reality - Roleplay aims to create a fair and equal environment for players, where everyone is treated as regular players and transparency is key in all decision-making processes.
PR-RP strives to maintain a strict roleplaying environment, acknowledging that it may not be the perfect server, but we are willing to take responsibility for our mistakes and work to improve the overall experience for players.
One of the unique aspects of Project Reality - Roleplay is the approach to roleplaying features.
We plan to offer a variety of options for players to engage in roleplay, including text commands, hotkeys, menus, and GUI (Graphical User Interfaces).
We also plan to provide a wide range of jobs for players to roleplay, including working for a company or another player, such as being a store cashier, phone vendor, lawyer, and more.
We also plan to have a comprehensive business system, where players can own more than 50 different types of businesses, such as gas stations, bars, and warehouses.
Additionally, we plan to offer a property system with over thousand player-owned houses and apartments available for players to own, complete with a garage system and large amount of interiors to choose from. We also plan to have a furniture system that allows players to customize the interior of their homes and businesses.
Unlike other communities, we value roleplay and character development over incomes, therefore we will aim to eliminate the need for grinding.
Other features we plan to include would be pets, a police K9 system, custom shops, forensic and shell casings, a county jail, permanent corpse system, casino system (blackjack, poker, slots) , a faction system (official illegal factions will have access to illegal goods), a custom music vehicle radio system and a variety of customization options for social styles, vehicles, and more.
FREE-2-PLAY & NO-PAY-2-WIN
One of the core values of PR-RP is that it is a player-driven community. This means that the community is self-funded by the owner and donations are accepted from community members, but these donations will not result in any benefits for the donators in terms of community position or in-game assets.
PR-RP takes roleplay very seriously and aims to create a realistic and immersive experience for its players. The focus is on character development, whether through factions (legal or illegal) or running a business as a civilian. The community encourages players to roleplay in a way that is true to the character they have created and to focus on the development of their character.
FACTION SYSTEM
On Project Reality - Roleplay, factions play a significant role in the overall gameplay experience. Factions, also known as gangs, criminal organizations, mafias, street mobs and similar, are central to the community’s focus on character and group development. Unlike other FiveM communities, which may place more emphasis on an “arcade” style of gameplay, PR-RP is designed to be a more realistic and immersive experience.
Factions in PR-RP start from the bottom and work their way up, building connections and acquiring assets as they progress. This progress is made through in-character actions such as extortion, side hustles, and other activities that are reflective of the faction’s concept and goals.
Factions that demonstrate a strong, realistic concept and provide quality roleplay content will be given the opportunity to become official factions. Official factions are given advantages over unofficial factions, such as access to illegal firearms shipments or the ability to trade with other factions for goods and services.
It’s important to note that progress in PR-RP is not instantaneous and is expected to be made over time, regardless of whether you are a civilian, a law enforcement officer, or a high-level mobster. The community values the development of characters and factions in a realistic and gradual manner.

It is important to note that the server is not currently open and there is not a set release date at this time.
The development team is working to ensure that the basic and general systems are ready before the server is made available to the public.
We are planning to have a short Alpha testing phase in the upcoming month.
This allows us to make any necessary adjustments and improvements based on feedback from testers before the server is officially opened to the public fully in BETA.
Followed by a Beta testing phase as the release we plan to work on current systems and update with new systems.
