After 5 months of intense development, I am proud to announce the official release of Project Car Culture !
Ever dreamt of playing a car game that had it all ?
Project Car Culture will offer you a truly unique experience, covering most, if not all the key aspects of a complete racing game. From street racing, to car meets, we have implemented numerous features that will fulfill any car enthusiast’s dream. We also focused very much on the lifestyle aspect of your experience, with the ability to customize your character how you please, purchase custom houses & garages to store your cars.
PVE Progression being also a key feature we offer, you will be able to compete with AI in races throughout Los Santos & Shuto. But that’s not all ! You will also be able to participate in NPC events, such as:
- Car Deliveries
- Careful Taxi Driving
- Fast Taxi Driving
- Package Deliveries
With a big focus on your progression, an economy and experience system is present in-game to lock certain features behind XP & Money barriers, reinforcing your realistic experience !
A large and growing selection of vehicles purchasable in multiple dealerships will allow you to drive your dream car, race it, tune it, and show it off to the other players ! We aimed at making the game fair regardless of the car you have, so we made custom categories that vehicles fall under, this includes:
- A - Asphalt
- B - Offroad
- C - Classic
Each category has different performance levels, classifying vehicles by their power and class. We implented realistic handling for every car you will drive, including realistic top speeds, and horse power.
Multiplayer aspects ? We got you covered ! With a selection of races you and your friends can compete in, it’s very easy to create race rooms, have players join them, and race your cars ! Car meets will allow you to show off your car in a global server event, that will occur automatically a few times each day !
Picky with details ? No worries, from pressure washing your vehicle, to refueling it from the pump by inserting the nozzle into the gas tank, we paid attention to detail, and made sure car enthusiasts got what they wanted! We also have air suspension, highly customizable wheel & paint menu, custom number plates, real life dealership car specs, estate agency, airport with plane animations to travel between different locations, and much more to discover !
Now that we got the features covered, an important question arrises, how do you make money and gain experience ?
We made it simple to earn money & XP, these are different ways of earning them:
- Driving, each kilometer you drive, you earn money & XP according to your car’s price !
- Racing, wether it be AI races, or Multiplayer races, you can earn money & XP from both
- Doing NPC events

Backstory
Project Car Culture is a huge passion project I took on beginning of July with one goal in mind: creating the most realistic racing game out there. At first the main aspect of the project was to level up my programming skills, especially in Lua / JS, and see what are the limits of what you can create in FiveM. As a result, 90% of the scripting in the server was done by me, including a custom framework ! I built the server’s functionalities from the most part from scratch !
