I’ve had too much trouble trying to port forward my server. I don’t have a VPS. I have the ports I need open, I DONT have access to my router UI (Connection fails every time). I have done probably everything imaginable to try to port forward it.
Connection refused most likely means that the ports are closed on the router. Even if the ports are open in your computer’s firewall, you need them open in the router as well.
Yeah, I figured out that if I just use a VPS I don’t have to port forward.
How do you fix it ?
If your hosting this off your main PC two things
One: Get a Game server or VPS, Why cause you will get DDOSED on your main internet and wont be able to stop it.
Two: Im assuming you are hosting because its free on your main PC, if you dont have the money to buy a game server/vps and this is a roleplay server you are going to get creamed theres a million servers only difference in them is Paid Assets, and Staff team.
Side Note not hating but if your serious about running a server, and want it to go far it takes money and for the love of god please do not host on your main pc.
