I recently switch from a playstation 4 controller to a playstation 5 dual sense controller. I plugged it in, and it seems fivem is the only thing it does not work on. I do not know if its something hardware/software related or not since the playstation 4 controller worked just fine. I dont expect to get all of the capabilities of the controller to work, but I couldn’t tell if theres even a way to make it work at all.

Would there be a simple way to replace the xbox controller icons with the Playstation icons client side through the mods folder for FiveM? I found this mod here that works for regular GTA 5 SP, but couldn’t really figure out how to get it to work in FiveM.
The .ytd and .gfx files (attached in zip or at the 5mods dl) are apparently supposed to go in \Grand Theft Auto V\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_platform_pc.rpf\ but I couldn’t seem to find a way to adapt this for the FiveM mods folder.
Any help would be gladly appreciated

Well, I don’t know. If you’re trying to get your xbox/ps5/ps4 controller to hook up to FiveM. I would go to steam and configure it there, or you can buy an adapter chord that hook up to controllers for a cheap price at Best Buy.

I got it working fine in game, it’s just a matter of changing the icons now

yes, precisely. It theoretically should be possible to replace them using a client side mod in the FiveM mods folder, the question is just how to create such a mod properly
