I have problem with my server since 2 days, when my server is full, all players try to connect stuck on “Connecting to …” and timed out with “Failed to connect to server after 3 attempts”. This problem appear only when server is full, the first players can join perfectly, and sometine server crash with all player “time out” in console. I have other server with same files (But Whitelisted) and there are no problem …
I have try :
Reinstall Server
Reinstall VPS
Changing VPS
Do you think it’s because too much players try to connect ?
Yeah before, when player try to connect they have message “server is full” or he connect and have “cannot connect to session provider”, that it’s normal but since 2 day player stuck on Connecting and need to Stop task fivem
This bug is not normal, players dont stuck on connecting if server is full if FiveM server work good.
Try yourself, connect to a full server, if server work fine this message "Server is full past 24 players)
You say sometimes your server crashes saying all players timed out, Does your VPS have any limits on bandwidth etc.?
I once had this crash and it was because my VPS overloaded due to the server being full. My fix for that was a upgrade in hardware.
As for them being stuck in connecting, did you disable hardcap in your .yml?
No hardcap is enabled and work good, i have 3 same VPS (I use only 2 VPS), VPS “A” have the same files of VPS “B”, VPS A have juste a WhiteList (So less players try to connect ?), when servers is full (VPS A) they have the message “[…] past 24 players” that it’s ok but on VPS B (same files), when server is full players stuck on “COnnecting”, i have try to move the files on VPS C but it’s same
I think you are right i need to upgrade hardware (I have OVH VPS SSD 1 (100 Mbps and unlimited trafic))
