PF-vMenu (an updated/enhanced vMenu)

How to enable fh4 plugin? i got fh4speedometer but it doesnt let me? do i need something else for that? to make it work?

It literally does nothing. But, we do have our own version here.

what about Chameleon Paints?

I think something is wrong because I don’t know why since I installed this vMenu for a while the peds don’t deal to my any damage at all? only after a long time they start doing something to me?

Hello. Could you please open a ticket within our server to explain your problem? @Quiet_Monarch

Hi, everyone! It’s been a week and 3 days since our initial release of PF-vMenu v1.1.3. We’re very happy people are using the menu and starting to notice our work (we were put on the map, positively and negatively, which will be discussed below).

Time for another update!

Teleport Locations

Due to some recent stuff (which we won’t disclose where they are), we’ve added a brand new Teleport Locations Submenu!

FiveM_b2944_GTAProcess_g4WSoNSvIV

Previously, vMenu could display the saved teleport locations under one menu, which was an entire mess as it would be difficult to find which maps could be found and which maps can you teleport to. The list was…very messy. Luckily, with files that were “indirectly” given to us, we were able to create this feature. This way, you can make as many locations as you want, and save them under different JSON files like the regular version!

FiveM_b2944_GTAProcess_7WVwJ25Bg1

While this is still a WIP, the best part of this feature is that it supports custom colors out of the box. All you need to do is modify the teleportCategories.json file included within the menu to add new menus and make a new JSON file. We have provided example JSON files on our GitHub to those who want to compile the source code for themselves.

Freecam² Implementation

Previously, we announced that the Freecam² source code would be published after we released v1.1.3. For v1.1.4, we have implemented Freecam² into vMenu (default key is U) with some new edits and fixes along the way. For those still using v1.1.3 or other vMenus, our source code is still available and we will publish fixes to that as well. New features will be added such as camera speed control (for precise movements), fixed controller compatibility so it is compatible with your current gamepads, and lastly, a feature that will take a picture and save it to your Cfx.re gallery. This test from a user proves that, albeit we had to use a little workaround with PF-vMenu.

New Vehicle Commands

We’ve taken a look at our Personal Vehicle Submenu code, and we’ve added a new command: /pv.

Now, by typing /pv, you can set your vehicle as a Personal Vehicle without entering the menu!

Alternatively, we have also worked on a /dv command so you can delete your vehicle. We also implemented other /dv commands like /dvall, which deletes every vehicle on the map (not driven by other players). However, do keep in mind that we are still working on a command to make sure it does not delete vehicles marked as Personal Vehicles for other players and for you.

Misc Updates

License Plates

You can now change License Plate textures without overriding the vehshare files.

This means you can finally change your textures without worrying about replacing existing game files for license plates. In this case, you can finally have the GTA V experience you want without changing up files.

Voice Chat: REMOVED (temporarily)

We’ve mentioned how PMA-Voice will be used for vMenu. Unfortunately, we’ve had bugs with Voice UI on the stock vMenu and PF-vMenu, to where we are removing the voice chat to make sure we replace it with PMA-Voice. Thank you @AvarianKnight for PMA-Voice. <3 (I’ve been trying to contact you to no avail.)

Overall?

We are very happy to announce that we have been working on this for a long time, and well, we can’t wait to release the new version of the menu. Albeit, we do have some news and I feel everyone should listen.

We are annoyed.

We’re annoyed at the fact that we have to deal with custom versions of our menu. We’re not saying you shouldn’t make your own PF-vMenu, we’re saying that WE AREN’T GOING TO DEVELOP YOUR OWN CUSTOM VERSION OF vMenu.

You’re more than welcome to use our source code, you’re more than welcome to use said code to make a new vMenu, and you’re more than welcome to request support in case if some features don’t work from our source code of our vMenu, but we will NEVER make a menu catered for your server while others get different versions. That is an exclusivity, and we will make sure we provide the same features for everyone all around. Either everyone gets the same feature, or no one gets new features. We want to make it fair for everyone to get everything they can and they can have at the same time, so players know and to make sure they are familiar with using said menu so they don’t feel weirded out when swapping out to other servers

We’ve given the requirements on how to compile your own. If you STILL can’t compile it, ask someone else who will compile it for you who is not of the Project Fairness Labs team.

We are aware.

We’re aware of the fact that our vMenu is a fork. But we changed quite a LOT within this vMenu, and we’ve expanded upon it to give it a different name so it’s not to be confused with the original vMenu. Our work is to continue the progress of the original vMenu and to replicate what other servers can do but BETTER.

We had to point this out because someone who decided to steal code off of another emote menu while being a fork of another menu tried to accuse us of forking and re-branding our version of vMenu, knowing very damn well they are extremely guilty. (Let’s not forget, they also wrote a heavily biased document based on research we did).

Also, we don’t care about the fact that they have 10 years of experience, I had more experience modding other games and even got some of my mods/assets featured on many other games under different aliases.

Bring it on, chump. You could NEVER mess with a COD modder with more experience than what you ever achieved.

Just a suggestion maybe make the dual weather where you can have different weather in LS and BC such as LS could be stormy while in BC it could be clear

Your attitude is cringe, you will NEVER have the ego of mojito so bring it on, chump.

Nope. We’re not adding dual weather. It seems useless.

If it’s not on GTA Online, then :person_shrugging:

Hi, everyone! It’s been 3 days since our sneak peek to PF-vMenu v1.1.4 was released. Unfortunately, we have heard people has gotten bugs in v1.1.3, so we released a hotfix build. As an apology for releasing v1.1.3 in an insulting state, we fixed the bugs, and we added a few new features from v1.1.4 so you guys can see what the new version can do.

What’s new?

  • Teleport Location Submenus (now, you can add as many menus as you want! Check the config folder for teleportLocations.json, and the locations folder and example1 and example2 JSON files for more info)
  • Freecam² Implementation, now has speed adjustment (Default key is U, can be changed in Permissions.cfg)
  • You can now delete unoccupied vehicles with /dv and /dvall! (Does NOT work when someone else is driving the car)
  • You can now mark your current vehicle as a Personal Vehicle with /pv!
  • Added a server game build check. This is for those people who are trying to use our menu on pre-v2372 servers. It was already displayed in the requirements that you needed v2372 or above. Why haven’t you enforced a game build yet??? To enforce a gamebuild, please click here
  • (Disabled by default) Custom license plate textures! No need to add a custom vehshare.ytd, when you can now override the license plates! Check the plates folder. To configure the new plate, use the Permissions.cfg file.

What has been fixed?

  • Fixed a bug with the manufacturer menu that caused players to not be able to check the menu

What’s been changed

  • vMenu voice chat has been disabled in favor of PMA-Voice. We may add it back after we fix it.
  • Notification systems have been changed to make sure that it is fully optional to use mosh_notify.
  • Inverted some permissions from disable to enable as some people were complaining about it.

Please check the issues tab if you have any more bugs to report.

Thank you to the people for helping me out with this update:

Well, you’re already part of the team. Drink something with us! Bahahaha!

Anyway, minor fixes for now, but Manufacturers now show up on the Addon Vehicle Spawner when you select a class (for those who are insane).

for some reason i cant open the menu

Did you check the keybinds? Did you delete the server cache? Did you use the latest server artifact?

yes, still not working

Odd. Please open a ticket in our Discord server. We cannot troubleshoot this on the forums.

Hi, what is the purpose of this, and how or what do we put in?

#YOU NEED TO SET THIS
setr vmenu_individual_server_id "" # can be any ascii character and no spaces. this is technically a public value dont make it a password or something you use

Do we insert any random number, basically I can see no documentation for this field

Basically im having this problem on my server, where if i set a personal vehicle the client side weather tab disappears? Any fix !
