Persistent Authentication Issue with RedM

Hello,

My name is Alex, and I’m encountering an issue with authentication in RedM. Every time I launch the RedM client, I am asked to enter my Rockstar account email and password, followed by the verification code sent to my email, even though I am using the same PC setup and network.

I have already tried the following solutions, but the issue persists:

  1. Ensuring the “Remember Me” option is checked.
  2. Running RedM as an administrator.
  3. Adding RedM and Red Dead Redemption 2 to the antivirus and firewall exception lists.
  4. Clearing the RedM cache folder located at %localappdata%\RedM.
  5. Completely reinstalling RedM and verifying my Rockstar account settings.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Having to reauthenticate every time is quite inconvenient and impacts the gaming experience.

For reference, here is my system setup:

  • Operating system: [e.g., Windows 10/11]
  • Game launcher: [Steam/Epic Games/Rockstar Games Launcher]

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Alex

@alexwinston, I had the same issue on my side - this helped me:

Open the RedM and wait the login screen, fill your email and password and go to the email Auth screen, click on the Support, wait to load, click to Sign In on the top right and login (even the auth screen) then close the RedM and try again.

Here it didn’t work, I followed these steps, when I log in to the support page it asks for two-factor authentication, which in case I have to confirm in my google authenticator, I close the REDM and when I try it asks me again to log in.
