From my current knowledge, after testing, the native does not work as expected.
So I manually build the mechanic and also added the procedural performance boost, which basically gives you the boost depending on the amount of time you drive behind a vehicle.
The free resource uses the GTAV Build-In Slipstream mechanic, this mean you will not be able to influence the power of the slipstream. With my script you will have the possible to adjust the performance boosting to your liking and also be able to use it as a granular boost, depending on the time your vehicle is in a Slipstream.
Moreover, the script you mentioned won’t let you use slipstream for NPC vehicles nor adjust the speed, which is needed to be able to use a slipstream.
my script dose “granular boost” because thats how the slipstream mechanics work by default it goes from 0.0 to 3.0.
You can easily make it so your car gets more boost or needs specific speed the same as yours.
Only thing it can’t do is get slipstream from npc which I believe is completely useless and causes your script to get very high ms.
I am not hating on your script or anything, The way you are checking for vehicles infront can probably give you more customisation and the price is not crazy, but the ms is 0.05-0.06ms for something this simple is too much, I’ve seen entire servers use 0.20ms.
