VL Spirit Animal Control is a supernatural spirit-link system that allows players to remotely control animals through spiritual possession — without physically transforming into them.
Designed for occult RP, scouting, ritual gameplay, and narrative-driven supernatural mechanics, this system delivers immersive control, cinematic visuals, and progression-based mastery.
How it works in-game
VL Spirit Animal Control lets the player project their spirit into a nearby animal, taking full control while their physical body remains behind.
The player does not transform — instead, a spirit link is established between caster and animal.
Flow
- Activate the magic (command / item / trigger)
- Enter spirit selection mode
- Choose a valid animal within range
- Spirit link is established
- Player controls the animal until the link ends
Spirit Control System
While linked, the player gains direct, smooth control of the animal:
- W/A/S/D-based movement
- Camera fully attached to the animal
- Task-based movement (stable & synced)
- Clean exit on timeout, cancel, or animal death
The caster’s body:
- Remains static
- Is invulnerable
- Plays a fixed spiritual animation
Progression & Range Scaling
The system includes a hard progression mechanic:
- Spirit Control XP increases only through usage
- Range scales with experience level
- Progression is intentionally slow (long-term mastery)
- Fully configurable XP values and limits
This makes spirit control a rare, powerful ability, not a spam mechanic.
Fully synced visuals (seen by nearby players)
The magic includes immersive, networked visuals:
- Cinematic fade-in / fade-out
- Spirit-link visual state
- Optional FX during control
- Clean visual exit on disconnect or failure
