[Paid] [Standalone] MFPD - Tackle - Realistic and Synced Animation.

MFPD-Tackle adds a customizable tackling system;

Allowing you to tackle: NPCs or other PLAYERS! All Synced between server!

The script includes the following features:

Press the keybind defined in the config.lua to perform the tackle.

Config = {}
Config.UseTackleAnim = false
Config.TackleKeybind = "E" -- Replace "E" with your desired keybind
Tackle Animations: Optional realistic animations for both the tackler and the target (configurable).
> If Config.UseTackleAnim = false then it will only ragdoll both player and npc/other player
> if Config.UseTackleAnim = true then it will play animation of tackle, if it's a player being tackle, it will only apply
ragdoll to the player tackled after the animation ends; If it was a NPC, then a busted animation will play.

Ragdoll Effects: Applies ragdoll effects to the target only if Config.UseTackleAnim = true;
If your Config.UseTackleAnim = false then it will apply ragdoll for both parties.

Random NPC Reactions: For NPCs, the system can play random busted animations after being tackled.
Player and NPC Support: Works seamlessly for both players and NPCs.
(Only apply busted anims to NPC's
 for Config.UseTackleAnim = true)
Spam Prevention: Includes a cooldown system to prevent repeated tackles in a short period.

Preview:

Tackle Animation that will be play if Config.UseTackleAnim = true

Obs: The busted animation will only play if tackling NPC’s, if it’s a player being tackled, than it will apply ragdoll to the player affected only.

Simple Ragdoll if Config.UseTackleAnim = false, the player tackling will always get up first:

DISCLAIMER, IF SET TO Config.UseTackleAnim = true, IT’S GOING TO WORK FINE MOST CASES, BUT OBVIOUSLY IF USED IN CERTAIN CONDITIONS, YOU ARE GOING TO SEE UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR, KEEP THIS IN MIND.

EXAMPLE: USING TACKLE WHILE NEAR A CLIFF OR EDGE OF BUILDING.

If you use Config.UseTackleAnim = false expect no bugs, as it only applies ragdoll to both parties.

I was not able to prevent all possible strange behaviors if the animation is going to be used, so that’s why I kept the price low, because it still a fun and fully working resource! :heart:

What’s the benefit of using this over something like badger’s tackle? Seems to be more or less the same script.

First off, just to clarify, I did not even knew about his script nor about him, this resource in specific was an old project of mine, that I re-wrote and made possible to tackle npc/players based on my work.

I’m not competing, just go for whatever fits you best, there’s multiple tackle resources out there, and each one runs and function different, even when it’s slighthly, my resource was made with my passion and my time, I tested playing with multiple players and npcs to see the best outcomes, so yeah, I do not need to compete, just choose the best fit.

About the resmon, it’s low and runs fine, I’m not home right now, but if you also want, I can send some resmon pics. Other than that, thanks for commenting, and I hope you understand my point.

Sure thing, I just wanted to know the pros/cons, I just assumed this had some extra features/upgrades that might be interesting to know about.

I did not wanted to sound rude, what I tried to explain is that I kept simple, but functional, overall I can say that the animations used for both tackling npc’s or players had differences in both pre/pos tackle, like busted animation and performance.

I can’t start comparing my resources adding pros/cons as it kinda feels like a competition, in all my resources, I always try list all possible uses, so it has what I’ve showed, included the performance and server-sided animations

Thanks

just bought the script but when I change the keybind its still E to tackle even though I changed it in the config

Hey! Sorry, I’ll look into that now and update the resource immediately

Asset updated, also remember to check out and clear your previously bind on FiveM Pause Menu>Configs>Keyboard>MFPD-Tackle.

I’ve provided a fix to the keybind, it will read for updates;

If a player hasn’t changed their tackle keybind manually, the new keybind set in the config.lua will automatically be applied on the next resource restart.
