Saying goodbye garages just feels like saying good day entity limits, and lag on major servers.

I like the idea but think it would end up causing more issues down the road.

Our script has a zone logic with set distances, so it does not create lag problems, neither in creation nor in saving, we worked a lot on optimization and timing

Can you explain how this wont make a server lag, if theres a 100+ people in and theres addon cars scattered everywhere then there will a lot of texture loss and fps drops and players have several cars on top of this so with and your saying you dont need a garage script but then all of those cars would be on the road somewhere perhaps you can explain this in a bit more detail

Vehicles spawn at a specific distance, and the server checks if the vehicles are always present in the last position, spawning them one by one with waiting times to avoid lag or malfunctions. The client won’t feel or perceive any issues because all the main functions are server-side and highly optimized. When not using this script, vehicles only despawn on restarts or when there are no players in the server or at extremely high distances that the client doesn’t perceive. Therefore, the purpose of my script is to keep the vehicle “session” active without affecting the client and server. The respawn is gradual and not simultaneous during server restarts.

Yeah i get that part but surely with addon cars people are gonna experience texture loss with that many of them being out at once? Lets say theres 20 cars parked at legion, people driving by all at once are gonna experience texture loss when their game loads those cars. I can see it working with GTA cars but surely not with addon

I have customers with 300 player ons per day, 0 problems

is the script doing anything to minimize the performance impact that this would create? ive seen 70 man servers with 30 cars out cause texture issues, and thats just causes being left out over the course of the day.

What’s the most important thing about the texture? This is client lag not server

If theres too many custom cars on a server being rendered, in the past this has been known to cause textures to go blurry and allow players to fall through the world. that issue was happening on servers with ~60 players with maybe 20 custom cars out, tho its been a while since so maybe fivems made improvements.

There is a really easy solution to this:
Don’t use unoptimized modded vehicles. You should not use those to begin with.

If you have 60 players and all of them inside a car, you would have exactly the same problems and completely unrelated to this script.

I have a similar script and I have customers with 500+ players that do not have those problems with hundreds of vehicles saved.

The system operates on a range with onesync infinity, this issue is resolved: cars spawn and despawn as scripted only if you are in the area, otherwise, if they despawn, they don’t respawn unless you are in the area, so you won’t have to load as many textures as you say.

Correct

I used your 3.0, but the police couldn’t impound my car

you have to add the import, please follow the docs

@DFdevelopment do cars save by plate, identifier and model UUID!? As we dont have unique plates. I figure a combination of factors to save the cars for the player may be needed
