Good news! Posted today, I have updated the hose syncing so it no longer relies on position data rebounding from the server. Each client is generating the hose using a start and end point. This allows it to be much smoother for viewing clients, while using less resources than before.

On another note. I’ve also enabled the ability to set a needed firefighter amount for the scenarios. You can set them individually by going to the emergency config, otherwise it will fall back to the default config option

  • Cant return firetruck if person who pulled it out crashes / quits (Work around is to have another firefighter pull a hose and put it back)

Hello you wonderful people! I am happy to announce that mrc_fire has been updated to include scenarios again. Thank you all for your patience. You are all amazing for putting up with my blunders. This build does still need thorough testing and I am certain that there will be things that need modification. Currently there is only 1 scenario setup which i will increase once the foundation is solid. Changelog:

  • Scenarios has been rewritten and currently include a traffic accident with a chance of fire.
  • All scenario entities are spawned client side syncing with positions and states.
  • Fires has been rewritten with a verification step. All clients should see fire at the same location. Particle size is not synced (meaning a flame can look bigger on one client than another. Planning on including states for the size and health of the fire)
  • Jaws of life, ladder and fire extinguisher added to a firefighter “shop” located at the same place they purchase trucks
  • Added Female clothing option for firesuit
  • By popular demand renamed jaws of life to rescue spreaders
  • Setup an issues github repo for tracking issues. See in OP

Any chance on getting a standalone version of the fire script with the working hose? Also is there a config to add custom firetrucks to pull hose from? I love the realism of this script but my server isn’t esx or a qbcore server.

Has the hose been fixed to not be choppy/floppy when walking around with it?

Yes the hose is now being calculated by each client rather than netted. It now does this by networking the truck and the prop held by the player (the nozzel) and then each client individually calculates the segments of the hose. The method i am using is called client prediction and should be much smoother than previously.

I’ve had a couple of requests for this. First i am going to finish esx compatibility (not current working as intended) and then i will tackle standalone hose. May take a bit but i will try my best to get it setup asap

-Bug fix for ladders (previously spawned invisible when not next to a building)

Yes unfortunately it is out dated. I wanted to fix it up but havent had time. I will update as soon as possible with a v1.5. I have disabled it until then so that people with newer resources would not have a poor experience.

Attempted to go to the tebex store to purchase but says page cannot be found. Where do we go to purchase?

QB-inventory v2 and newer updates to qb-core have broken some features. I didnt want people purchasing a broken product so i have temp disabled it. I will be doing beta testing in my community with it sometime hopefully this month. If you wish to participate feel free to contact me.
