This is my first commercial script, so I’m celebrating it’s release with a week long discount on Tebex!
Leashed LLC: Animal Control Job Script
Work as an Animal Control Officer for Leashed LLC! Respond to reports of roaming animals, capture them, and bring them to safety. Experience various unexpected outcomes as you perform your duties.
Frameworks Supported:
- QB Core
- ESX
- Ox
Thanks to ByteLab’s Bridge, this script is compatible with QBCore, ESX and Ox. Specifically for context menus, target menus and paying the player for successful job completions.
Technical:
- Uses Digiscanner to track animals by their chips (original Scaleform work credited to PenguScripts)
- Uses state bags for handling state across animals/vehicle/player
- The spawn points when customised, will attempt to always find a roadside for the animal to spawn on (To randomise it more), if one cannot be found it’ll use the exact coordinate points.
- The animal lead is syncronised across the server, all players can see the lead
- Networking/Entity migration is handled so if the animal migrates to another nearby client, it will not lose it’s active tasks.
- Animals have a (customisable) chance of attacking / fleeing or simply doing nothing but continuing to walk.
If anyone has any suggestions on how I can further improve this, let me know! I feel there is so much more that could be achieved with this!
