Posting this here because they have a limit for how long reviews can be on their discord:

2/10 opened my ticket on April 21st and detailed numerous issues with the illegal businesses script. By May 5th, only one issue had been resolved, and that issue was caused by my dependencies being out of order. It took two devs two weeks to figure that out. The ticket was closed on May 7th, even though the ticket was marked to keep open. I opened another one and was assured that Andrew would get around to fixing the issue. That issue, along with most of my other issues, is still unresolved.

The main unresolved issue, the stock you receive from resupply missions always being 100%, was confirmed over two weeks ago and no fix has yet to be released, even though they have updated many of their other scripts multiple times. This issue is almost certainly caused by a static float, probably 100.0, being used where a variable is supposed to be used. As someone who has a degree in computer science, it takes maybe five minutes to verify that a variable is not being used where it is supposed to be, not two weeks.

The script is easily exploitable, especially if the server using it has scheduled down time or closes down at a certain time every night. You can easily do a sell mission, collect the money right before the server shuts down, and keep your stock you just sold and the money from the sell. Or, your resupply you just purchased will get lost, along with the money spent on it. This could be fixed by sending data to the database after every mission and purchase of supplies, but the script only saves to the database every 15 minutes or so. I brought this up in my original ticket, but it was never acknowledged.

Another issue is some blips display on the minimap, while others don’t. This is a fairly minor inconsistency, but it would be nice if all blips were viewable on the minimap, since the missions are timed and I’d like to know where I’m going. Also, some blips do not properly report their z position. I brought these up multiple times in the original ticket, and I was told to use a different blip for the blips that do not properly report their z position, which is not a fix for the problem, and the inconsistency of some blips being on the minimap while others aren’t was brushed off.

There is no on-screen timer for the missions. If the missions are timed, please put something on the screen that tells me how long I have left.

I reported all of these issues, except for the issue about there being no timer, and most were ignored or downplayed.

I have screenshots of most of both tickets, if there is any doubt to what I’m reporting in this review. I was unable to archive the last two or three messages of the first ticket and the last message of the second ticket.

When you sell something for over $40 USD, please make sure it actually works. If you sell something that has multiple issues, use the feedback you get from your customers to solve those issues, instead of ignoring them.

Hey, I completely get it, I would be even more mad if I was in your position.

Things got a little hectic because of our latest release and I wasn’t able to check your ticket. That’s no valid excuse though and I really apologize that you had to go through all of this.

Please send me a DM on discord so I can give this high priority and resolve your problem.

PS: I’m really sorry that this happened, I hope you can give us the chance to make this right.
