:rocket: How It Works (Step-by-Step):

:one: Order Stock

  • Log into your in-game computer and browse the marketplace.
  • Place an order for the items you want to sell.
  • Pro Tip: Use realistic wait times for added immersion.

:two: Wait for Delivery

  • Your order will ship to Los Santos. When it arrives at the local post office, go pick it up.

:three: List Items for Sale

  • Use your computer to list your stock. Set prices, and get ready for business!

:four: Serve Customers

  • After some time, customers will appear. Drive to meet them and exchange goods for cash! :dollar:

:warning: But Wait—It’s Not That Easy!

:speech_balloon: Negotiations Sometimes, customers will haggle with you. You’ll have three options:

  • Flip Them Off: Show them you’re not playing games.
  • Counteroffer: Try to get a better deal. :handshake:
  • Accept the Deal: Sometimes, it’s better to take what you can get.

:pirate_flag: Robberies Low reputation? Things get risky! Here’s what could happen:

  • Grab and Run: Customers might snatch your goods and make a run for it.
  • Armed Threats: Some customers will bring weapons, ready to fight for your products.
  • Night Mode: Enable this option for even higher robbery chances after dark. :crescent_moon:

:sparkles: What Makes This Script Unique?

  • :star2: Immersive Gameplay: The combination of realistic mechanics and unpredictable events keeps players engaged.
  • :hammer_and_wrench: Advanced Logging: Discord webhooks let you track every action in detail.
  • :briefcase: Endless Possibilities: Use it for roleplay, business management, or just fun challenges, edit it however you like!

:bulb: Pro Tips for Server Owners:

  • Set longer delivery times for a more realistic experience (Players will get their orders even if they are offline!).
  • Customize robbery mechanics to keep players on their toes.
  • Encourage players to build a good reputation for smoother transactions.

Nice script!

If I have another dialog/interact resource like is_interact or envi_interact can I customize this to use those to maintain consistency in my server UI?

Please update your post to remove references to “open source”, as this is misleading. Consider using the word “source” instead; for example: “the client source is editable, while the server is escrowed”.

Thank you!
:mascot:

Thank you for your feedback and interest in the script!

Currently, the script is preconfigured to use ox_target for interactions, and all menus are handled using ox_lib’s context menu for a seamless experience. However, the script is designed to be easily customizable. All interaction-related functions are modular and neatly organized in the editable.lua file, allowing you to adapt it to work with other dialog or interaction resources like is_interact or envi_interact to maintain consistency with your server’s UI.

Additionally, I’ve updated the documentation to include editable code to help with customization. You can find the updated docs here: https://justhedomas.developerhub.io/domas-scripts/editable-code
