Welcome to OpenDrive Motorsports
[What we offer]
OpenDrive Motorsports is a brand new server all about racing, and a healthy amount of roleplay, with realistic handling and tire wear (which unfortunately can only be fixed with the /repair command in the pits). We also offer (or will offer as of future updates) multiple race types (offroad/street/organised) as well as car types and teams.
[Everyone can play]
Besides the official races with leaderboards we also host street races and offroad races which are not scored and are fun for everyone.
Also all drivers are on the market and can be approached by team leaders with a contract to which the driver can accept or deny it.
[What makes us different]
We are more organised as we have multiple roles in a race, not just the racer which are as of the writing of this post:
-Racer (Main Driver) - Gets better car
-Racer (Second Driver) - Gets the worse car
-Race Engineer for each team - Gives orders/advice on weather and car conditions
-Marshalls (Admins) - They hand out Penalties and can disqualify any driver and can also change the weather.
-Comentator/Interviewer (Streamer) - They can stream the race as well as interview any driver on their thoughts if something happened during the race.
as well as out-of-race roles:
-Team Manager (Owner of team) - Manages the used cars and can upgrade them / Manages drivers as in can switch them and have contracts with other drivers on the market.
We have our own private tracks which are both slow paced and fast at the same time with a lot of take over opportunities.
Real life race teams and types:
We added F1 teams as well as some Nascar cars but are sure to add more.
Our main goal is to get the racing community here to compete in scored races and see what team has the best management and teams out there, and if we grow and get donations we can set it so that the winners of a season get a prize of real cash. (though for now the winner team will get in game money used for car upgrades etc…)
