We’re thrilled to announce that Odyssey Roleplay is officially live! Join us in exploring our brand-new and exhilarating city. We’re excited to share some of the standout features and systems you’ll get to experience firsthand. Dive in and discover what Odyssey has to offer!
Skill system: A majority of jobs all include its own skills system. As you progress through your job, you will be able to increase your pay, or unlock different features! We have a handful of skills to start that you can use to progress your characters with more coming soon!
Civilian world: We have a handful of civilian jobs like most roleplay servers, such as: player owned restaurants, 24/7 stores, mechanic shops and more! Also for our jobs related to Police, EMS, DOJ, Government. These jobs have a lot of features behind them such as taxes on items, vehicle, housing etc. for the government, advanced evidence systems for police, a VERY expansive medical system for EMS and more!
Criminal world: The criminal scene is vast and diverse. Criminals won’t have a shortage of things to do, and to discover. We have drug systems for you to learn with your friends, robberies for you to figure out, things to do while in prison and more to be figured out in character!
Vehicles: our vehicles feature a class based system. You may notice some being a bit more expensive than you would expect… Our class system features a D,C,B,A,S and even X class for your racing pleasure!
Jobs: We have designed our jobs around progression as stated in the skill system. Every single job has progression. From unlocking better poles in fishing to being able to be your own owner/operator in trucking instead of using a rented truck! There is a lot for you to explore.
Economy: We have started our economy (pay/cost of things) to be what we felt was a fair and balanced system. We want the server to be more about roleplay and spending time with your friends than grinding jobs 24/7. We plan to adjust this accordingly as needed (either scaling up or scaling down) - We truly value your feedback on this as the next few weeks progress as we want it to be in a position both you guys and we are happy with!
Positions: Police, EMS, DOJ, Government are still hiring so find their applications and apply!
Gangs: I don’t want to touch on gang features as we want them learned in character! But We would like to let gangs coming in or future gangs know we are happy to work with you to get things you need for your roleplay! (Such as Biker Kuttes, Gang flags and other related things)
We’d like to take the time to remind all the players to please read the rules before joining the server. We will be lenient for a short time, however it’s up to the players to know and understand the rules.
We want to give a shoutout to our amazing team of developers, staff members and testers. Without you none of this would be really possible.
To everyone who is planning on checking the server out today, Thank you for giving us a chance to provide you with a unique experience. We are a team of people who, like you, are dedicated GTA roleplayers who just want to build a community for us to all enjoy together!
Future updates: We have a roadmap of upcoming features and updates that we have already begun the process of! Once we get through the initial bug fixes and over the hump of release!
