Hey! I coded this crosshair to be used as a test and decided to throw it on as my first official Public Development release for FiveM. It doesn’t use drawtxt and is done in JSS/CSS/HTML for better resource usage.
I’m not a big fan of the default GTA crosshair which is why I made this.
This is a standalone release and I might update it in the future for a dynamic effect when shooting.
Once you get it loaded up simply pull out a weapon and free aim and hit x to toggle the crosshair. and x to shut it off, the crosshair will fade in and out when you are aiming and not aiming and it doesn’t work in first person.
Was that comment really necessary? Don’t be a dick. It’s still a cool concept, it wont be hard for people to take this mod and make it look different. It’s a good template.

“Better resource usage” what does that even means ? i mean, the only great part about your way to do it, is that people can easily import their own crosshair image, though this doesn’t give that much choice for players.
If you use drawtxt on any ui element itll use alot more resources then a simple image script in js. It wasnt meant to be customizable because its a test script.
awe man! optimized scripts are the best i love this and than kyou very much! I have a small FiveM server for family and friends to play on and im using the qb-core framework. and it didnt have a crosshair. i did a search and foudn this. its perfect.
