When starting FiveM if you have another audio source say YouTube or in a discord call the sound gets static and garbled and you can’t hear or speak in the call and the audio being played is gone replaced with the terrible sound. I have removed the “Allow apps to take over device” have uninstalled and reinstalled FiveM and checked the files from GTA to make sure it is correct. Not sure what the next steps are and I have never had this issue. Anyone with suggestions would be great to hear from you.

Reinstall your RealTek audio drivers for a start, then make sure your device’s sound format is reasonable (44100 / 48000 MHz), and check for any software messing with your sound in any way.

I don’t have any RealTek drivers only ones for my headphones, mic, and those items. Here is what I have. All software is up to date, I have seen people post this probl ut never the fix for it.

Huh, the fact that there’s virtual devices etc may be the cause, disable all of the unused ones first of all and then see if this occurs in any other situation or game; this kind of issue is usually caused by the manufacturer’s software, not FiveM.
