Rockstar acquiring fivem doesn’t means that fivem developers get full access to gta 5 source code, I’m guessing they have more resources to work with, but not all resources
In the FiveM changelog, ‘add deltas for 3095’ signals specific updates to support the new GTA DLC. These ‘deltas’ ensure compatibility and a better experience in FiveM. This is a step towards the next FiveM update, where the Canary version will include these changes.
Yes they are working to make the update, I don’t want to give an exact date but maybe in a couple of days the canary version will be ready, before it took weeks to publish the updates.
These are optimized downloads so that when you newly install FiveM, the first download is like only 300 MB and not 1.5 GB for example. This does have to be done for every game build, because it uses the files for the build you already have installed.
It’s not directly related to supporting the new build on servers.
