Hello all!
My name is Richie, and I’ve recently started diving deeper into FiveM development and creating custom resources for the community.
I’ve already released a few projects through Richie’s Workshop, but I’m always looking to learn, improve, and hear what other server owners and developers would like to see!
If you have any ideas, suggestions, or even something you’ve been wanting for your server, feel free to share them below! I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts and see what I can come up with.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
Richie
Hey Richie, one useful small project could be an item configuration checker that reports missing inventory images and inconsistent item settings without changing any files.
I’d start with one framework and inventory, then keep compatibility adapters separate so adding support stays manageable. A clear report with the affected item names would make troubleshooting easier for server owners. Which framework are you currently developing for?
Hey @smx.pusha thanks for the suggestions! An item checker definitely sounds like a useful project, especially for servers with a lot of custom items.
Currently, I am mainly developing things that are compatible with Qbox & ox, since I am the most familiar with that. I have not branched out as I thought it wasn’t the best idea until I am more grounded.
I love the idea tho, and it is definitely something I will work on. Will probably toss it in a public repo
Hey Richie!
Thank you firstly for contributing to the community by sharing this post because I am also a fresh dev on the scene and don’t know how to put myself out there and find that community. When I checked out your website I got super excited because I am also a dev that works in both DayZ and FiveM!!! I am so down to connect with you and get to know more about your work
