As the title says, the server im working on, people especially in the Gabz PD MLO, are disappearing.
We have One-sync on, currently set to Infinity, not legacy.
we were told by their support to Delete ANY interiorproxies file in all our MLO’s, and clear server cache and restart server(And make sure One-Sync is on, Didnt specify which legacy or infiinity.) Anyways we are still having this issue, are we doing something wrong? or was gabz support incorrect in their post? We just really need some help and are running out of ideas.
How many MLO’s in total is this server running?
Just curious.
I was just told, in total 72, most of them are Gabz, and i was also told we are going to be thinning them out cause our head Dev is thinking thats too many(The server owner added in that many, he got a little excited). Also my Head Dev is asking about the Interproxies, is that file still relevant? Or is it no longer in use?
They are automatically done via FiveM now. And have been for a while.
Any pre-existing ones will causes issues. Remove them and test.
We took them out, and are testing at the moment, without the interproxies file, we are still getting issues disappearing, but are getting them less(Less issues disappearing), But still happening.

also sorry about this, I was just told(only one of us can be connected to remote server at once), there is one Interiorproxies in the folders, we will delete it now, and test, again sorry. im not actually looking at the server the head dev is at the moment.
Also edited original post XD
ok wait, so do we use InteriorProxies? or do we not?
You do not. They are automatically created while loading resources by the server.
Welp, I was in the process of posting this, But the InteriorProxies, Ended up fixing the issue, our head dev used the batch creator he linked, and everything is working now.
Thanks for the help though Twittchter, appreciate the help.
I Dont know why its working if both you and gabz support told us to delete them, but so far everything is working now and Thanks JP23 for the link!
Same issue, this was my fix. Make sure you have only one interiorproxies running in your maps, all the maps with the manifest saying interior proxies blablabla, erase that. Drag all of them to the input, run the program, on the output grab that interiorproxies, open it and change the value to 4000.
Then, have only one resource folder running a map saying in the manifest the interiorproxies thingy. Then drag the output interiorproxies to that folder, clear cache, start server, enjoy.
I’m just putting this here for myself for future review and potential bug report, please ignore this post of mine.
I seem to recall having the same issue when a friend joined my dev server, I don’t have many people to test with atm. But will probably make a bug report soon if I can reproduce.
You’re welcome. It’s a unsolved topic pretty much. Some people don’t need them, others like you and me do. Glad it’s working for you.
As you’re effected too, would you mind letting me know the following?
What server artifact’s you’re running?
What game build?
What or all/any interiors you experience it with?
as far as i know, we are running the latest(Not the latest recommended) Artifact,
Our biggest issue was the Gabz Mission Row PD
Game build im not sure off the top of my head.
When you have time, would you let me know the above too?
5848 artifacts
2699 game build
Not every map was having the issues
Can you folks please provide actual map files that you experience this issue with? Manually setting up interior proxy ordering is easy to get wrong and may lead to random game crashes, and interior proxy ordering shouldn’t matter for replication purposes these days so you’re likely hitting another issue.
(the misconception above that this ‘is automatically generated’ is a bit weird, interiorproxies.meta only defines the ordering of ‘interior proxies’, these are automatically set up when the .ytyp for an interior is loaded - the change set linked above actually just makes entity locations use a hash + offset instead of the raw order, but clearly it’s not working for some setups people use- are you maybe having OneSync disabled for whatever reason or are you using a server build with svadhesive removed?)
I have yet to test, but to answer you;
The Gabz Subscription based lowest teir, no audio occs involved.
Can’t provide as escrowed
Not ripped off versions, but I suspect some will as well, like the audio missing one you posted on a moment ago.
The Mission row replacement.
I go into the garage, a friend also goes in, we flicker for each other. Audio is fine. Going to the external doors shows the players again just fine.
I’m uncertain if it has any weight to it, I do not use his loading method for IPLs as simply requesting hundreds at the start was frowned upon.
I use my own method that uses a circular radius around the locations to request and remove them as clients approach or leave. Inclusive of the entity sets etc.
Onesync is just on. Not legacy.
No no to the svadhesive.
A query around this;
I recall seeing some long time members use the phrases automatic so I just went with it as well.
So essentially it was done to clean up the hundreds of people crashing due to incorrectly done proxy orders. That’s awesome and all, but
Does that mean we should still do interior proxy ordering ourselves if we experience these issues as adding them corrects this issue as @JP23 has done?
Thanks in advance.
