Allright, I’ve fiddled with this for a while now, with no signs of progress.
I’m trying to stream a file that retextures one of the jackets in the MP_Male character
Also known as mp_m_freemode_01
How would i stream a file named for instance:
“jbib_004_u.ydd”
Any help?

I have tried that to stream multiplayer model textures but it seems that it just doesn’t show up in-game.

What I am trying to stream, is a texture that falls within the mp_m_freemode_01 char.
as far as I know, some trickery would have to be done to get it to work.
That trickery I have no clue how to perform.
Progress update:
I’ve exported the whole DLC PED folder, and put it into the stream folder.
Result: Now all assets are invisible.
Server console output, this might just be due to rebuilding cache idk, but it might tell someone something?
Hmm well that’s a step in the right direction.
Are the .ydd’s just in the mp_m_freemode_male_heist folder?
The output does look like the usual rebuilding cache though.
I’ll mess around with it too, I hope someone figures it out though!
ydd and YTD files yeah
.ydd is the mesh=the shape
.ytd is the texture=what you see

The real issue here is, what files do you actually stream, as the mp_freemode_m char is made up of a lot of indepentent files in different dlcs

Tried that aswell, worked not really optimal.
the thing is, mp_freemode_m should be a supported ped to stream, wish we mabye could get an answer from a dev here?
Could you perhaps get hold of someone with more knowledge to guide trough this fuckery?

I have the same kind of issue, this https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/wehrmacht-uniform-for-trevor wouldn’t work either, when i switched to it, the models were invisible, with the texture being a small box in the middle.
I think the problem is that these special peds just aren’t supported for streaming right now. I think it would be pretty easy to make them supported, but that’s something the FiveM devs would have to do. Maybe make a topic in Feature Requests? I think a lot of people want this added, myself included.
