Multicharacter System without Skin Changer

Hi, I’m building a ESX/vMenu hybrid community and I’d like for players to be able to select their character without using skin changer as I prefer the clothing customization in vMenu. If you know how I can set this up or a resource (free or paid) that will do this for me, that would be great, thanks!

esx_multicharacter/client/modules/multicharacter.lua

replace the Multicharacter:LoadSkinCreator(skin) function with this:

function Multicharacter:LoadSkinCreator(skin)
TriggerEvent(“skinchanger:loadSkin”, skin, function()
self.playerPed = PlayerPedId()

    SetPedAoBlobRendering(self.playerPed, true)
    ResetEntityAlpha(self.playerPed)

    self.finishedCreation = true
end)

end

It’ll use ESX’s starting skin, skips the ESX appearance menu, marks appearance creation “finished” so that ESX can complete spawning and then lets you open vMenu afterward to create your appearance…

Player Spawns → Open vMenu → Create/ load appearance → save it in vMenu

or do you want vMenu a part of ESX’s initial character loading process?

This works, thanks partner
