It’s maybe 30MB, and it serves the purpose of being spectacularly cool.
You have no trouble joining a server and downloading 83 cars at 15MB a piece, but the background awesomeness disturbs you?
I think perhaps you need to have a sit down and think about this. Why would you disparage the person behind the game you play for free? Maybe you’re the bloat that needs to be cut from this community before you burn out the people responsible for your entertainment, and we all have to move on to lesser things?

It requires an additional user response, this response would be best estimated at under 5 seconds, it is in all likelihood longer. But it sounds like the solution might be to keep the load screen, remove the user button, and auto forward to the home page as soon as you are done loading the bloatware…

No, FiveM is not really that big, nor is it very bloated. I do agree that this is not strictly required, but on the whole, FiveM is not strictly needed at all. It’s an entertainment product. This is an entertaining feature. It furthers the purpose of what FiveM tries to do, and is thus not really “bloat”.

It entertains people. It’s pretty to look at. It represents a damn cool technological feat. It brings back memories from all the fun I had in previous GTA games.
