Something I’ve been considering for a while, is moving from a Windows to Linux server. A fair few people I’ve spoken to have sworn against using Linux because Windows is easier to use (which I agree with), and some have said moving to Linux is better because it provides better performance, reduces the potential attack surface if the server is attacked, resources start quicker, etc.
Having said all of that, I’m sitting on the fence and aren’t sure which way to go. I wanted to get some feedback and opinions from the wider community before I do make any changes. Any suggestions, tips, ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.
