make sure you dont got tons of things running in the background eating your memory as GTA5/FiveM do take a lot of it.

Made sure absolutely nothing using more than 1% ram is running in the background

The reason you are maxing out your RAM when playing there is because of the huge amount of resources and custom vehicles they have. Probably some other weird stuff too.

This too, servers with lots of resources will indeed make you use more memory.

The RAM usage will start out at about 86% by the time I connect and will gradually work its way up to 100% until my PC literally crashes. You think this is the issue?

Might be.

When you are connected to the server, hit F8, enter resmon 1.

A window should pop up. It might be small at first but you can resize it by holding (while F8 console is open) Ctrl+Alt and then moving/resizing the window.

Send a screenshot of the whole list by scrolling down. We can then add up the RAM usage and determine if that’s the issue

I think it’s a problem on my end because my friend got this at the same time I did and he’s having no issues on the server, here are all the processes in Resource Monitor:

Then I noticed something interesting as I was taking screen shots of my resource monitor:

FiveM is only taking up 61% of RAM in this screenshot but theres 91% memory in use? Other processes not shown in the screenshot are below 0.5% Is there a possible memory leak and if so how do I go about fixing it?

Turns out same thing is happening with vanilla GTA Online.
Should I try reinstalling?

Just reinstalled. Problem still happening but I’ve that the RAM will start out relatively low about 70% and as I start to render in areas. GTA’s RAM usage will just gradually increase the further I drive until the point of 99% usage. Any ideas?
