[Linux] Starting symlinked folder

I have a folder ~/fivem/resources/[Scripts] and in this folder there are more category folders for example ~/fivem/resources/[Scripts]/[Test] this folder however is a symlink linking to a folder that contains the resources that i would like to start.

Server output:
Couldn’t find resource category [Test]

But if i start the with the resource name directly then the resource starts successfully.

Is there someone that has experience with this scenario that could explain how to achieve this behavior.

Just a quick example from a framework server. Seems to work fine. Any [folder] inside another [folder] will work as an independent resource if ensured properly. Could you provide more info?

Yes i know that this should work, the only thing that is different that the folder is a symlink to a other folder. The weird thing is that if i start the resource itself that is in the symlinked folder then it works fine.
