So I’ve used RTSS to limit GTA5.exe to 62 FPS for a long time, because otherwise I get 100+ FPS and my GPU gets very hot, plus I get horrible stutter & input-lag in the Esc-menu.

I’ve tried using RTSS for FiveM.exe with the same settings but it does nothing, so I was thinking maybe the main FiveM.exe is the wrong file to apply RTSS to? Or is there another way to limit the FPS of FiveM?

(I’d rather not use Vsync because it causes input-lag, and RTSS works fine for GTA V so it should work for FiveM too, right…?)

turn on vsync… its an option pretty much well every game has to lock the frame rates to your monitors refresh rate.

it was blacklisted at one point as it caused a large amount of crashes due to a bug in RTSS, you’ll have to find another means to do so.

The problem with Vsync is that it causes input lag in GTA V for me, so I’d like to avoid it if I can.

Well that blows, I’ve read that the overlay/recording parts of RTSS could cause issues but thought I’d be fine since I’m just using the FPS limiter and have the other parts turned off.
You wouldn’t happen to know of any other ways to limit the FPS in FiveM?

any way to opt out of the “blacklisting”? I always knew that the overlay causes issues and have this always disabled but there is now better way to limit frames than RTSS since it preserves frametimes the best and adds no lag at all. Vsync is not an option at all and not intended to limit fps and adds a significant amount of input lag.
