Welcome to Lemoyne
Lemoyne Roleplay is a text-based RedM community centered upon serious character roleplay, long-form storytelling, and meaningful consequences. It has no whitelist. You complete short in-game quiz and you can immediately jump into the roleplay.
Our setting has moved beyond the familiar frontier period into 1908. Saint Denis is expanding. Organized labor is gathering strength. Automobiles are beginning to appear. Old money, political power, industry, and ordinary working people are increasingly brought into conflict.
We are not building a server around rushing through progression or accumulating the largest bank account. Our focus is on:

- Player-led institutions
- Political and social conflict
- Businesses and professions
- Crime, investigations, and consequence
- Stories that continue beyond a single scene
Text-Based Roleplay
Lemoyne uses written proximity roleplay. This gives players room to write deliberately and create detailed scenes without relying upon voice chat.

Life in Lemoyne
Civilian Life
Players may pursue farming, mining, lumber work, fishing, postal work, crafting, commerce, transportation, and other ordinary professions.
A humble character can matter just as much as a public official or criminal leader.
Businesses and Economy
Our economy is designed to support roleplay rather than endless grinding.
Players can operate businesses, sell goods, employ others, build reputations, participate in trade, and take genuine financial risks.
Law and Government
Lemoyne includes:

Medicine and Injury
Doctors and injured characters have meaningful roles through hospitals, treatment, bleeding, physical injuries, recovery, and emergency assistance.
Crime and the Underworld
Criminal roleplay includes illicit trade, theft, narcotics, illegal production, organized groups, informants, investigations, and enterprises built through interaction rather than menu-driven progression.
Recreation and Social Life
The world also includes poker, blackjack, horse racing, saloons, telephones, newspapers, theater, boats, pets, camping, and other gathering places intended to encourage organic roleplay.
A Player-Led World
Staff provide systems, support, events, and the framework of the setting.
The community provides its history.
Businesses can rise or fail. Factions can fracture. Elections and public decisions can create opposition. Crimes can produce long investigations. A character’s reputation may become more valuable—or more dangerous—than their money.

What We Value
Collaborative writing
Give other players meaningful material to respond to.
Consequences
Success, failure, injury, scandal, and loss should all contribute to the story.
Historical plausibility
Characters need not be historians, but they should feel believable within 1908.
Story over victory
Good roleplay is not determined by who leaves richer, stronger, or unharmed.
Respect for other players
Everyone involved in a scene should have an opportunity to contribute.
