I recommend changing this to “source available,” as this implies that people can reuse (in ways you don’t intend) your work once they have the files. Keep up the professional-level releases
Source Available sounds more confusing like you have to pay more for it. All EUP needs to be Open Source and not Escrowed.
not escrowed =/= open source, just because the base files are useable or viewable, does not mean they’re open source. Open source implies they’re using a license like gpl 3.0. Currently the way most people in FiveM use open source is just incorrectly saying what source available is intended to mean.
For example, EUP is incorrectly used to say “addon clothing,” but we know what that means because it’s regularly incorrectly used to mean “addon clothing” but someone new/not familiar with this incorrect usage wouldn’t know and might assume from open source that it is actually open source.
