Keymaster - Granted Asset has disappeared

An asset that I purchased has disappeared. Here is what happened.

  1. I purchased an MLO. It appeared in my keymaster granted assets no problem.
  2. I transferred this asset to another person so we could use that MLO on that server.
  3. I then bought the same MLO again (for personal use) as well as an additional MLO. Both assets were in my keymaster no problem.
  4. The next day, one of the MLOs were gone from my keymaster. The MLO that I purchased a second time. The additional MLO still remains in my granted assets.

I think what happened is a timing issue. Because I purchased the same MLO, it must have transferred it or did something to it due to the transfer of the first MLO I purchased. The question is, how do I get this asset back into my keymaster? I have reached out to the author of the MLO and they are looking into it but I am also posting here as it seems to be a CFX issue (the author also mentioned it is a CFX issue).

Thanks in advance.

If it was the exact same asset then that’s expected - you can only own one license for a specific asset at any given time, if you get the same asset again the old one will disappear. You can try contacting support via the portal but it’s not likely anything will be done.

I transferred the first license. When the second purchase was made, I should not have had the license anymore. My best guess is, it is related to what you said but maybe because the transfer was pending and that’s why something funky happened.

As a creator myself I can tell you two things:

  • The creator should contact Tebex directly and provide all necessary information. They can hand out the license again if such an issue arises.

  • The creator itself can also simply create a $0 payment with that asset for that account.

Of course both should only be done if sufficient evidence exists.

They did send the license again but it didn’t work. I also suggested a $0 payment but they basically said “they don’t do that” and “without proper documentation there is nothing they can do”. They just say “it’s a CFX” issue.
