Animation credit @BzZzi

Not bad, but I’d credit the prop creator for the cake and fix it so the animation doesn’t break when you walk through doors or bump into people.

And no, I’m not “attacking” you for this release, or for your sexuality, as some people would assume, I’m simply giving you some advice lol

I’m also confused what the “custom animation” is, as both are from Rockstar Games?

Why should I give credit for the free shared prop? I get paid for making menu items edible and edible.

Well since you asked, I’d be more than happy to answer;

The fact that you get paid for making menu items edible and edible does not give you the right to take credit for someone else’s work. The creator of the free shared prop put in their own time and effort to create the prop, and they deserve to be credited for their work.

When you use someone else’s work without giving them credit, you are essentially stealing their intellectual property. This is a scumbag move, and it is not fair to the creator.

If you do not want to give credit to the creator of the free shared prop, then you should not use the prop. There are plenty of other props available that you can use without having to worry about giving credit.

Taking credit for someone else’s work is not only unethical, but it can also have legal consequences. If the creator of the free shared prop finds out that you are using their work without giving them credit, they could sue you for copyright infringement.

So next time you are thinking about using a free shared prop, remember that it is not only the right thing to do to give credit to the creator, but it is also in your own best interest.

Here are some additional points about why it is a scumbag move to use a free shared prop without giving credit:

  • It is disrespectful to the creator of the prop.
  • It sets a bad example for others.
  • It could have legal consequences.
  • It is simply not fair.

If you want to be a respected member of the creative community, then you should always give credit where credit is due. This includes giving credit for free shared props. It’s not that hard, and it’s the right thing to do.

  • It’s the right thing to do. When you use someone else’s work, it’s only fair to give them credit. This is especially important for free shared props, because the creator didn’t have to charge you for their work.

  • You didn’t make it. If you didn’t create the prop yourself, then you don’t own it. You’re simply using it with permission from the creator. Giving credit is a way of acknowledging that you’re not the original author.

  • You’re profiting off of someone else’s work. If you’re using the prop in a commercial project, then you’re essentially profiting off of the creator’s work. Giving credit is a way of showing your appreciation for their contribution.

Here are some additional reasons to give credit for a free shared prop:

  • It helps to build a community of creators. When you give credit, you’re helping to promote the work of other creators. This can encourage other people to create their own props, which can make the community as a whole more vibrant.

  • It sets a good example for others. When you give credit, you’re setting a good example for other people. This can help to create a culture of respect for intellectual property, which is important for the creative community as a whole.

Ultimately, giving credit is simply a way of being respectful to the creator of the prop. It’s the right thing to do, and it helps to build a better community.

Here are some tips for giving credit for a free shared prop:

  • Identify the creator. If you can, try to find out the name of the creator of the prop. This information is often included in the prop’s description or in the files themselves. Although, luckily for you, I have already credited @BzZzi for you. You’re welcome.

  • Include a link to the creator’s website or portfolio. This gives people a way to learn more about the creator and their work.

  • Use the correct attribution. If the creator has specified how they want to be credited, then be sure to follow their instructions.

  • Be consistent. If you’re giving credit for multiple props, try to use the same format for each one. This will make it easier for people to find the information they need.

Giving credit for a free shared prop is a simple way to show your appreciation for the work of others. It’s also a way of building a better community for creators. So next time you use a free shared prop, be sure to give credit where credit is due.
