Unable to use items (mechanic_tools, toolbox).
My server is Linux, version 7290.
To be honest, I have no idea what the problem is, so I may not have enough information for you. In that case, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please ask us for the necessary information.
It appears you’re experiencing issues with the jim-mechanic script on your FiveM server, specifically related to jim-bridge. The errors in the screenshot indicate that some required global functions like createCallback and registerCommand are not being recognized. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve this:
Verify jim-bridge Installation: Ensure jim-bridge is correctly installed and up to date. It should be compatible with the jim-mechanic version you’re using. Re-download it from a trusted source if necessary.
Check for Missing Dependencies: Sometimes, missing dependencies can cause issues. Make sure all other necessary scripts (e.g., qb-core, qb-target, ox_lib, qb-menu, and qb-inventory) are correctly installed and loaded before jim-mechanic.
Confirm Server Artifacts: Your server is running on Linux, version 7290. Ensure this version supports all the required functions, as some Linux versions may have compatibility issues with certain resources. Upgrading to a more recent server artifact version might help.
Re-examine Custom Configurations: If you have customized any part of the jim-mechanic or jim-bridge scripts, verify those changes to ensure compatibility with your server setup.
Test on a Clean Server: Try testing jim-mechanic and jim-bridge on a fresh server with minimal resources loaded. This can help identify if other scripts or configurations are causing conflicts.
Consult the Script’s Documentation: Some scripts have specific configuration steps for Linux or specific FiveM artifact versions. Check jim-mechanic and jim-bridge documentation for any Linux-specific notes.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, you might want to reach out to the script’s developer or community forums, as they may have more specific insight into jim-mechanic and jim-bridge compatibility issues.
The issue is Jim hasn’t been available to update his scripts. Its been radio silence for awhile and as he is an amazing dev due to personal reasons he has been unavailable. With others scripts/cores having been updated his bridge is almost useless at the moment.
