Issues Downloading Content From Various Fivem Servers

Hello All,

I am having issues downloading content onto five m when trying to connect to different serves., it seems to download quick then it halts and hangs without making anymore progress. The last server i tired was 185.38.149.150, All my friends are able to download and connect quickly to the server.

I find its strange it hanging as my internet connection is amble for Fivem which normally download small files quite quickly.

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?: Yes

Also add what you already tried so far.

1 removed five m cache and ran Fivem it again
2 disabled Anti virus and used VPN then ran Fivem
3 portfowarded the ran Fivem
4. removed and reinstalled GTA V and Five M with reboot.

Looks like your priv cache is corrupted, tried clearing it?

No would that be via CMD?

Nope :smile:, just go to your FiveM application data then in the cache folder look for a folder called priv and delete it

yeah it hangs after downloading a bit on all the serves.

stuck at a download which is like 0.05mb

I’m having this same exact issue and nobody knows what’s going on, been two days already and I’ve tried fixing it by every way I can imagine and still no results.

I have a server built and I have not joined to test it, my friends have been playing on it since yesterday and they says its all good :grin::grin:

I fixed mine by deleting the FiveM\FiveM.app folder and ran the exe again, which worked for me.

  1. go to cash folder and fivem.exe C:\Users\pcusername\AppData\Local\FiveM (it will re download everything)
  2. try join a server

Update from my citzen fx.log i get this error

Everyone on can server join quick with no errors but myself and one other person, thinking it my not be a server side.
