Issue with Linked Accounts - Crossed Identities between Me and My Friend

What is the issue you’re having?

Hello,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because there has been a serious mix-up between my FiveM account and my friend’s, and we need help resolving it.

To clarify, we each have our own separate accounts:
• Separate Steam accounts
• Separate Discord accounts
• Separate Rockstar accounts

Recently, my friend downloaded GTA V through Epic Games. While trying to log in to his Rockstar account, he had trouble accessing it, so I let him temporarily use mine. He successfully logged in, but after that, things started getting weird.

Whenever either of us tries to log in to FiveM now, one of us gets kicked out with a message saying:
“This account is already connected.”

We also noticed something strange in FiveM’s settings (top right gear icon) under Linked Identities:
• My FiveM (CFX) account shows his Discord or vice versa
• Sometimes it even shows both of his accounts linked to mine
• The same happens on his side

Could you please help us untangle this mess? We’re stuck and can’t play at all. We would really appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards, Andriana

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

We tried:
• Uninstalling FiveM on both systems
• Clearing the cache
• Logging in to each of our own Steam, Rockstar, and Discord accounts correctly

But the issue still persists.
We completely uninstalled FiveM, Rockstar Launcher, GTA, everything on both PCs and reinstalled everything from scratch. Each of us made sure to log in ONLY with our own accounts on every platform.

But the issue still continues.

Both of you need to delete the folder called DigitalEntitlements under C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local , after logging into all of the correct accounts, followed by a PC restart - that should unlink everything.
