Issue with clothing DLC and clothing not appearing for other players

Can anyone help me with my clothing, i use durty cloth and i have separated my female clothing into 4 separate packs and male into 4 separate packs. They load up in city and all that but im having streaming issues, i can see my clothing i pick but someone else in the city sees me wearing completely different outfits. i have reduced the clothing a bit but i didnt want to get rid of too much clothing. can anyone shed some light on why this is happening and help with a solution please? also when the packs load there is nothing high textured (red) in the server console only blues and a handful of yellow

Male and female should always be in the same packs, you don’t need to make seperate packs for each one.

You want to keep the number of “packs” you have as low as possible.

Since you have 8 packs (plus highheels) that means you likely have 9 ymt files. Depending on your game version, you are probably above this limit.

Also the “ghost” clothing could also be that you have more than 128 items in a category. For example, if you have 128 jbibs (note, that’s 0-127, not 1-128) anything after will not appear properly.

ohh okay, ill combine my clothing packs and see if that helps, also i understand the 128 per category but how do other servers have a lot more clothing?

it’s 128 per category, per DLC.

For example on my server I have 5 DLC/ymt/packs (Whatever you want to call them) and within each one I have 128 jbibs.

I only ever add something to a new pack when I hit the limit in the first one.

So for example

Pack 1:

128 jbib
128 accs
5 task
etc

Pack 2:

128 jbib
50 accs

Pack 3:
50 jbib

You only ever add clothing once you hit the 128 limit. Also keep in mind that hats/high heels/props will also create an additional pack/ymt.

So say the game version your server is on 3407. You have 6 ymt slots available.

So you would be limited to 5 clothing packs, if you add any addon hats/highheels/props, that will create a creaturemetadata file, which will reach your limit of 6.

ohh i see, i get it now haha! but when making a new pack would i start the first item at 0 again or would i put it at 129 then just ascend from there?

So, each DLC you would stop at 127 since 0 counts as 1.

Once you hit 127, you make a new project. I believe DCT has a feature to split packs automatically, but for me, manually keeping the project files separate is easier.

Up to you.

also 1 additional note, it’s 128 per sex, per pack. So you have 128 female jbib and 128 male jbib in the same pack.
