Me and a friend are getting tired of our old server with all the bugs and timeouts. we are looking at starting our own just to screw around on and we are wondering if it is worth using ZAP hosting for a server buying a lifetime server or if there are better options?
I have used a Fivem Server from ZAP-Hosting and i can only tell that it was the best decision for my server. They have a good uptime running on the Servers, and i only got little mistakes but they were fixxed quickly. Its your decision
Depends if you want a ready made server, they’re really the only ones you can go to for game servers on FiveM, if you like tinkering around and can get around on linux (you can use windows ofc but most providers charge extra so keep this in mind) you can rent a vps/root server or a dedicated server from a trusted provider for the best performance. You can get decent root servers these days for under $20.
Your country is important. If you are closed to zap servers and if player pings can be low. This is the best option.
This is true to a point. I have a ZAP server and my ping is less than 20ms and have not been able to use my server for 3 weeks because of ZAP’s admin restrictions which are preventing me from adding resources and scripts to my server for the basics like a phone or any map blips. They have told me that they dont allow admin privileges because it is a shared server. Please keep this is mind when choosing a host. I have lost $52.00usd because of it and am looking for a new host because they are not willing to help me rectify the situation unless I pay for their speed up ticket for suppport.
Can use vibe hosting, provide better protection
Vibe hosting is terrible and violates the PLA, so would not advise going that direction…
ddos protectiiion is very better than zap
or can use a vultr vps is better
I use Goodleaf hosting, I would steer from zap, used that for a while and was not happy with it.
