As @Sasino97 asked here, is using the word “GTA” permissible or could action be taken against a server/community for utilising that word?
I am aware Sasino has already sent an email to Take-Two Interactive and they have not responded - after a bit of research, I believe that might be because “GTA” is not officially a registered trademark, although Take-Two Interactive did attempt to trademark it before the case was suspended (reference - see “Status”).
So what’s the official take on this by FiveM? I am aware existing servers are continuing to utilise this non-trademarked name - does this also apply to new ones that will open?
I would appreciate a response from @nta or co.
