Hello, Im planning to open a new server and thus have to get a server. Should I get a CPU which has more singlecore or multicore performance?

We recommend a x86-64 system running Linux or Windows (7/2008 R2+), decent upstream connectivity and preferably a multi-core processor.

FXServer uses 3 cores (svMain, svSync, svNetwork), so having a core that can turbo high on a few cores will be more then having an extremely high core count.
