Is it still worth getting into MLOs in 2026?

yo everyone :waving_hand:

figured i’d introduce myself since i’m new here, i’ve recently started working on my own tebex store and i’m thinking about getting more into making MLOs for the community.

but honestly, i’m kinda wondering if it’s still worth getting into MLOs at this point, especially with GTA 6 coming to PC eventually (probably a year or so).

i know FiveM still has a massive community and there’s obviously still a lot of people playing it, but i’m curious what you guys think, would you still recommend someone starting out now to learn MLO creation and build a store around FiveM?

also if anyone here has been doing this for a while, i’d genuinely appreciate any tips, stuff you wish you knew when you started, things to avoid.

just wanted to say what’s up and get some opinions from people who actually know what they’re doing

anyway, happy to be here :handshake:

While GTA 6 isn’t out yet, you have time to gain experience; I think your skills will improve during this period, making it easier for you to create MLOs for GTA 6 later on—either way, you come out ahead.

GTA 6 isn’t the issue, the issue is whether it’s worth the effort.

I’d say as a standalone creator, no it’s not worth it. If you work with a few servers to make MLOs for them on commission, and then sell them on your Tebex, sure.

You should join sollumz and codewalker Discords to see what people are working on and discussing. There’s a lot of tooling that’s coming out now that LLMs are getting stronger and better at this; you should be ready to move quickly.

You should not be worried about GTA6. It will take time to come out, and even then, there will be a time while servers slowly move to it. Also if you start now you will have experience for GTA6.

Making things are much easier now with all the tools that have come out, but that does not mean creativity has died. If you have good ideas and you care about your creations you will do fine.
