I’m new to fiveM and i’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this but i wanted to know if it was possible to have fiveM go towards your GTA V steam hours. I’ve noticed it counts hours towards something called ‘Source SDK Base 2007’ on my profile, Screenshot, but I would like it to go towards GTA V.
If a program that does this has already been made then that would be great if anyone could link it but i haven’t found anything on the forums. I only ask if there is a program since there was one for GTA San Andreas multiplayer mods that gave GTA SA a new launcher where you would run GTA SA through steam like normal but instead of launching the game it would open a game launcher where you could choose SP or MP. Because it is launched through the actual San Andreas game and not the multiplayer exe, it would count steam hours. Small screen shot of GTA SA launcher
Well, FiveM is a separate modification to GTA. It is not a launcher and therefore, won’t count towards your GTA game time. If you wanted your GTA game time to tick up when you’re on FiveM then you’re going to have to use an external program (such as Idle Master) to achieve this.
I understand that FiveM is a modification so I am looking for a program like you suggested. I feel like it must be possible to get it to actually count Steam hours because of what I said about GTA SA multiplayer mods. These mods, just like FiveM, are separate modifications that don’t count towards your Steam hours. With the help of a special game launcher that replaces the proper one, it will run properly through Steam due to the way it works. I may try and recreate one for GTA V with he little coding experience that I have but I will most likely fail.
In the mean time, i’ll try your suggestion of Idle Master, thanks!
