[Invalid Model - Add-on Cars]

Hi guys, I have installed around 60 replace cars onto my server and they work fine which is obviously not a problem. The problem begins when i install a couple add-on carc and it appears to be saying that it’s an “Invalid Model” . I have tried installing just the add-on car and it worked fine. Not sure whether it is to do with streaming and the 16Mb limit.

I had installed add-on cars previously and it wasn’t a problem although when I installed the 3rd addon car and i can’t spawn any of the add-on cars though i can spawn replace vehicles with no problem.

I have also removed the replacement cars to see what’s going on although it doesn’t seem to change anything. I can’t reverse it now. Server won’t even spawn a single addon car even when there is only 1 addon car installed.

I even made a second server and a single add-on car worked although when i put the replace cars back in the addon cars stopped working.

Make sure that you’re spawning the name of the car rather than the folder name.

I have been using the name from vehicles.meta

Try to start the one with the .ytf or .ytd. If that doesn’t work was the addon car resource started correctly? Check server logs for additional info

I found that addon cars should be started indivdually/seperately from the replace cars outside my vehicles folder. I have simply just put the addon cars directly into resource and started them individally in cfg. I hope that this is helpful to someone in the future.
