I have a very unusual mistake. "could not authenticate server license key. your key is not matching the inicial IP adress sufficiently (…) Please create a new key, or run the on de rigth provider. I had a key running on a domestic machine with the key with her ip. Now, I’ve created another server with VPS IP and don’t want to let it go up by this error. It asks me to start with the IP of my default machine, why is that. Can anyone help me?
As the error says, the IP of your local machine does not match the IP for your VPS. Create a new key in the keymaster for the VPS.
So, I’ve already done that and I’m receiving this message with the new key and the VPS IP. It’s another server, on a VPS and it’s asking me to enter the server key that already exists and with the IP of my common machine.
Might be some kind of issue with your hosting service.
I don’t have hosting services, it’s just a standard VPS. And the error is not linked to the hosting service because even if I create another server on a VPS or on my home machine, it always asks for the same KEY. What I want to say is that regardless of which server I create or how many, the error is that it always asks me for the same key with the home IP and worse, it asks me for the key of a server that is already online. it doesn’t allow me to use a new one without the home ip and wants the KEY of an existing server.
Are you trying to use the same key on multiple servers? Am I understanding correctly?
No, I just want to use another key on the same server with the VPS IP.
