The project has been profit focused for a long time. Rockstar purchased it because they seen how successful the pre-existing monetisation efforts were. Every game owned by a large corporation aims to make a profit and I don’t see this any differently. It would be nice to see new features but these are two different teams, the team that pushed out this update (which was not new just moved) aren’t going to pause their efforts because another department is slacking. Hopefully the development team gives us something soon. It was mentioned in the community discord that we will be getting some news on what’s going on with them soon so hopefully that gives us some clarity.
