Today we’ve introduced the first wave in a series of new changes to the FiveM and RedM clients, to improve the ways you access and interact with servers.
These changes include:
An updated design that’s streamlined and more consistent throughout
Server title colors have been removed for a cleaner look and improved accessibility
The addition of a Report button on individual server pages
Changes to character limits for server listings:
Decreased the text field for a server’s project name (sv_projectName) character limit from 50 to 40 characters
Decreased the text field for a server’s server name (sv_hostname) character limit from unlimited to 120 characters
Increased server description (sv_projectDesc) character limit from 125 to 250 characters

So any chance your going to look into the clearly stolen server asset servers that pop up with $60k worth of upvotes and they’re name just says “WIPE (todays date)”
Has the traffic and the number of active players decreased, it seems?
I have notifications set up and I see the statistics. I can assure you that for the past year, the number of new ‘tourist’ players has become increasingly scarce. Along with the game time, previously a player could play for an hour; now, at most, it’s 4 or 5 minutes, with a few playing more than 15 to 30 minutes.
Thats not true at all. FiveM definitely has an Anticheat built in, which is one of the big reasons there isnt a Linux port of FiveM afaik (since its a lot of work to rewrite it), etc.
Please do the community a favor and remove upvote system altogether. This changes are nice to stop servers from spamming tags and names but it doesn’t stop any core issues on the platform. Process goes as follows a person abuses upvote system with credit card scams gets 12k upvotes puts up a new server with nothing but TOS violations, pay-to-win and no regard to any of the rules. They get new players hooked for a month or two they rug pull them after they pocket all the money and do it over and over again. Thus any new players leave the platform and never come back. We need real client changes that impact this whole community.
