Also add what you already tried so far: I have already tried running as admin, turning off anivirus, I have no UAC enabled. Regular online works fine and so does singleplayer. I don’t have any mods in it.
I forgot to add!
So basically when it fails, this is the error message I am getting:
Hello, this is a friendly reminder because this is your first time creating a topic (or it has been a while since your last topic) in this category.
Please note that most of the support is provided by the Cfx.re community on a voluntary basis. We ask you to be patient; there is no guarantee we have a solution to your problem(s). To avoid unnecessary/duplicate topics, please browse the forums before creating a topic.
To improve your chances of your issue(s) being solved, please provide as much information as possible about the issue(s) you are having. Also —whenever possible— please use the template given to you when creating a topic.
From looking at the information it seems that when it has downloaded then it requires an internet connection to download and update the rest and it seems that it’s not connecting and it fails after so many attempts.
Windows on the latest build?
Firewall not blocking it and allowing it?
GTA files fully default.
GPU drivers updated
Got following Microsoft visual C ++ installed from 2005 to now
Anyone else have any ideas? I mean come on this guy needs to get FiveM running.
‘Glad’ you’re ignoring the reply saying support is provided by the community.
Also ‘glad’ you’re not able to see what’s wrong in the information provided by you (for 20 days, mind you) as it’s super blatant:
WHAT ARE ALL THESE FILES DOING IN YOUR GTA V DIRECTORY? Most aren’t even part of the game itself, but look like you dumped half of a 5-year-old FiveM install in there and then forgot about it.
First, no one replied to me. Second, I can clearly see that with all these replies from everyone besides Empire earlier today… So ‘glad’ we’re on the same page here.
Anyways besides you being passive aggressive about the fact I have only been trying to get attention to this so it would stop being overlooked (like I have seen other posts overlooked as well in relations to this same problem), those files are regardless irrelevant. They’re only there because I tried multiple ways of installing after the basic way you guys have listed did not work, so I tried installing it directly into the directory to see if that would make a difference (it didn’t obviously), but that’s what they’re doing there, but I had the same errors I posted before installing FiveM’s files in the directory.
The download for FiveM was from the download link you guys have, so whatever that was on there as of 30(ish) days ago is the one I used.
No, they’re not. They’re exactly what is causing your issue, and they’re from 2016, I would find it impossible to believe that you tried installing 2016 files this year.
Full clean install of GTA 5 is the best and only option
That’s not nice, why are you being aggressive?. I mean you can see that he’s a newbie noob who doesn’t know how to operate and needs help. He’s asking help who doesn’t even know nothing and get shouted at, for something that he’s a noobie at.
Maybe I should reply to a person in a very aggressive mode on twitter or whatever for spelling mistakes? because why not
Anyway, Full clean install of GTA 5 sir then install fiveM (not in the GTA root file) and should work like a monkey
