Inquiry regarding pending release topic (7+ days)

Hello,

I hope you are having a good day.

I am writing to kindly ask about the status of my release topic

It has been in the “Pending” state for over a week. I have double-checked the release rules, template, and GitHub repository visibility, and everything seems correct. I wanted to ask if there is a specific issue blocking the approval so I can fix it immediately.

I’m send it on Monday. I expect it to be approved by Friday evening. During this process, if I send another forum post, the one I previously sent will be automatically deleted.

When I look at other users, I can see that they get approved quickly, within 2 or 3 days.

I’m having a really hard time sharing my scripts. I have to wait a month to share 3 scripts.

Thank you for your hard work and support. Best regards.

Just wait, they’re reviewed on a first come - first serve basis by a very understaffed team. There’s nothing you can do to expedite the process

May I ask something, though?

Since the review team is very understaffed, is there a reason why new members aren’t being recruited? Or is there any way for community members like us to apply or help with the review process?

From what I can see, I’m not the only one struggling with long approval times, so I’m just curious if there’s any plan or possibility to improve the workflow.

I have no way to answer that, I’m not staff or anything - my “Leader” tag is just an indication that I spent way too much time on this forum and have a few basic things entrusted to me, like being able to edit, close and unlist topics without needing a moderator, but that’s about it. I’m sure they know about the issues and will figure something out eventually

Thank you for your explanation.

The last topic in the review queue is 2 days old, if it has been pending for more than 7 days then it got rejected. Don’t submit new topics during approval because as you’ve seen it will get bumped to the end of the list.

Is there any way to know why my posts are being rejected? This is already the second post that has been “removed” without any notice or email. I would really like to understand if I am violating any rule so I can fix it as soon as possible.

Yes, my latest submission was 2 days ago. I’m not sure if you can see older records, but I’ve had topics in the past that stayed in pending for 7–10 days without any rejection notice, which is why I wanted to ask.

I understand the queue system, but this situation can be a bit frustrating from a creator’s perspective.
If there’s a lack of staff or support needed, I’d be more than willing to help in any way if that’s possible.

Thanks for your time.

Just following up on this post. It’s been about 5 days in review I know it’s a busy holiday week so no rush just making sure everything is in order.
Best regards!

I’ve been waiting for approval in Pending for 7 days.
If it won’t be approved, don’t waste my time.

Apparently, charging you worked. For the rest of us, we remain without answers, only with the expectation that this exhausting situation will eventually be resolved.

I thought it had been corrected, but I was wrong, my friend.
It’s been almost 11 days. My message hasn’t been deleted or approved. This situation is really frustrating.

@KondScripts I’ve been trying to post for over a month now. I’ve changed the content, the images, and the text, but I don’t see what else is left to change to get approved—my posts just keep getting deleted. I’ve read the rules God knows how many times, trying to understand what I’m doing wrong.

I don’t know what’s going on, but my last post was on January 8. Since then, nothing has been approved.

There’s no feedback at all—after 7 days, it just disappears, even though all criteria are met.

I’ve been trying to contact management for a long time, but I haven’t received any response for over a month.

I’m not sure if there’s an issue with the system or something else, but this has been really frustrating.

I encountered a similar problem. My post disappeared after 7 days without any feedback, even though I’ve submitted it twice. Almost half a month has passed, and the post still hasn’t been approved. Have you succeeded yet?

Before January 7, everything was fine. It usually took 2–3 days to approve my post, and they would give feedback if something needed to be removed.

But after that, I posted about 4 times and waited 7 days, and the posts were removed without any feedback. I don’t know why this is happening. I can see that some posts are still being approved, so I’m not sure what changed.

I posted a new one today, so let’s see what happens. I completely changed the writing style. The forum is the best source of promotion, but I don’t know what will happen next.

They finally sent me feedback today after 3+ weeks and 5+ posts being denied. They don’t even read your release post as they denied me for something I was actually doing correctly but they just made assumptions instead of actually checking my post to see if the required info was there, which it was. This entire thing is just crazy and the way its done needs to be changed and actually brought up to a standard you’d expect from a AAA game studio… instead of leaving it all to one volunteer.

not gonna lie, i guess the volunteers have changed. i knew some admins before and they were great. nowadays i don’t know anyone. i messaged moderation a long time ago and they still haven’t replied. also, one of my friends copied my post format and posted using the same data i provided, and his post got approved in 3 days while mine is still stuck. i don’t know, man. they don’t reply or anything. i even texted one former admin and he said he isn’t there anymore.

I can relate to this. One of my release posts took about 2 and a half weeks to get approved. No rejection, no feedback — just waiting. It eventually got through, but the uncertainty during that time was frustrating
What worked for me was making sure I followed the release template exactly, included a preview video, and most importantly — not resubmitting while it was pending. As TheIndra mentioned, resubmitting sends you to the back of the queue.
I understand the review team is small, but even a simple “your post is in queue, estimated wait X days” would make a huge difference for creators.
